Chris Ofili, Peter Doig and Luc Tuymans



Painting is getting a fair shake in London this Fall, finally.  Exhibitions include Chris Ofili at the Victoria Miro, Peter Doig at Michael Werner and Luc Tuymans at the new David Zwirner. Jackie Wullschlager reviews the shows in the Financial Times  and her point that there has been a dearth of retrospective exhibitions of living painters is right on the money, and not just in London.
