Unsettled Looking, Anna Plesset

Anna Plesset's exhibition at Untitled  A Still Life is, according to Roberta Smith (NY Times), a

blend of conceptual art and trompe l'oeil.... that unsettles the act of looking.  

Plesset discusses the importance of American Impressionist painter Lilla Cabot Perry in this body of work in her interview with Gorky's Granddaughter.
