Roland Flexner's new work
Roland Flexner's at D'Amelio consists of 100 framed drawings, below you'll find two individual works and then one installation view. Flexner uses chance and restraint to manipulate ink to make the drawings which are further enhanced by the introduction of liquid graphite. Faye Hirsch interviewed Flexner for Art in America when his work was included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial. Its worth checking out, his practice is as amazing as the work itself.
