Vija Celmins, artist interview

Tyler Green interviews Vija Celmins for Modern Art Notes Podcast. They talk about her intuitive approach to making work. While talking about photographic source material Celmins mentioned "when i gave up composing, inventing....when i really got down to mapping surfaces and images I found I tend to follow them faithfully...and my hand was doing its own thing, kind of following but with its own sensibility."
