Lock Gallery presents Sarah McEneaney's show
Trestletown. These mid-sized paintings are primarily egg tempera on wood and some are acrylic on linen. McEneaney's work is focused on her home, studio, travels and her neighborhood. I find the interiors particularly interesting, off kilter yet grounded. They're evocative of Chagall or medieval interiors, but grounded in the mundane rather than the magical or religious.
