After the stunning exhibition at the
Palazzo Grassi for the Venice Biennale Rudolf Stingel's new show shifts focus from architecture to image. Based on vintage black and white photographs of his birthplace in the Tyrolean Alps Stingel reproduces every scratch, fold and aberration of the photograph focusing on memory an its decline.
