Katharina Wulff
Channeling Chagall's magical
environments and Tuymans washed out palette Katharina Wulff's narrative
paintings feel exceedingly familiar and unfamiliar. Her
ambiguous paintings are located in gyms and hotel lobbies and filled with barefooted-nude
athletes, swans, and motorcycles provide a snapshot into some world; I'm just
not sure what world.
