We're into the fall season already but I have a few favorite paintings from the Whitney Biennial to share.
Pat Phillips, from Louisiana, had two paintings and a mural commissioned for the exhibition. Rooted in grafitti, Phillips work are refreshingly direct reflection on race and class.
